GED Tutoring Assistance for Men **URGENT NEED**
- The mission offers tutoring sessions for those in the facility who are pursuing a GED. They have curriculum through which they need to work before they take their exam. They need volunteers to help them as they encounter difficulties in the material. The men have tutoring Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. It is also possible to schedule GED tutors on Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m – 8:00 p.m.) or on Saturdays during the day.GED Tutoring Assistance for Women - GED Tutoring needs for Women are exactly the same as for men, except the available times. The women have tutoring needs on Monday and Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
After School Tutoring with Kids - After school, CRM has a tutoring program that helps kids as they do the homework assigned to them for that day. The tutoring sessions are Monday through Thursday, 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Nursery Assistance - They offer short-term childcare while the clients are in class or performing their work responsibilities around the Mission. Right now they have about 20 kids (infants through 4) who are part of this program. We have need on Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Meal Service - They have a continual need for people interested in helping to serve one of our meals. Breakfast is 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Lunch is 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Dinner is 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. They serve on this schedule every day of the week.
