Youth
Every Wednesday night, teenagers from across the Oklahoma City metro meet at Frontline Downtown. It is a time of worship, of preaching directed at the teens of the city, and a time of gathering together. Dinner is provided as well as transportation from some of the neighboring high schools. Our hope and vision is to teach today’s teens about Christ so that they can reach their peers.
Several adults attend the youth group as well. Their presence is to equip the teens with the love of Christ and to serve as a safe place for the teens to lay down their burdens. Already, we’ve seen Christ move in the lives of the youth and are excited to see more teens come to know Christ as their Lord as well as to see our youth reach out to the rest of the city.
On Sunday night, the youth are invited to attend a Community Group meant only for them. The C-Group is led by four youth leaders, and our prayer is that this will provide the teens a chance to grow together in faith. Wednesday nights, as well as Sunday morning services, provide the youth with the Word, and Sunday nights give the youth a chance to discuss and process the Word. We are excited to see the youth group grow as we learn what it truly means to be disciples of Christ.
