Our Mission

Frontline is not on a quest for cool. As soon as a church makes being relevant the goal they’re already behind the curve. Cool changes every five minutes. We are on a quest for Jesus and the message and power he brings. All of history and all of the Bible reveals His story. That story includes beauty and perfection being broken and shattered by men and then being restored through Jesus. We want everything that he Bible says is real to be known, believed, and experienced. Our personal stories find their place and meaning as they are caught up in The Story. Our response to who Jesus is, what He did, and what He is doing defines our mission.

Love God

The One who created the sun, moon, and stars first loved you. He has loved you in so many ways. Every good thing is a gift from Him. The greatest gift He has ever given was His Son Jesus. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus we can come into a life changing, heart awakening relationship with the Headwaters of life. Our first purpose as a church is to help you love God. By embracing the cross we understand His love and our created value. We also see our crimes against God and need for redemption. In order to love God we must first receive His great love for us and see ourselves as dearly loved children of God. When we know the love of God we will live lives full of freedom, worship and gratitude. We want to help stir your heart with affection for Jesus, not a dead historical figure like Abraham Lincoln, but the living Water of Life who changes everything.

Love People

If we say we love God and hate people we are liars. God is building a family. The ethos of that family is love. Deep, real, relationships with others are as central to our lives as air. One of the greatest acts of worship is real community. We are a church that wants to bring people into a serving, loving, caring community. We want to weep with those who weep, laugh with those who laugh, and share life. Following Jesus is deeply personal but not private. We have been invited into a relationship with God and with His family. We are free to take off our masks and be fully known.

Push Back Darkness

Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil. A blanket of darkness covered everywhere Jesus went. Jesus was the light of the world and darkness could not stop Him. Sinners were forgiven, the sick were healed, the hungry were fed, and the oppressed were set free. Jesus called his followers the light of the world. We are sent into dark places to shine the light of Jesus. We are missionaries to our jobs, schools, friends, neighborhoods and cities. We are not armed with the weapons of bad attitudes and picket signs, but with the mighty weapons of the Holy Spirit so we can bring His Kingdom of hope, love, healing, service, passion, beauty and light to dark places. Frontline is a place where light meets darkness and the darkness runs.
